I'm a big girl now!

Lila is getting so big.She sits up on her own very very well now. holds her bottle super good now. she can roll around and keep holding it haha! She keeps herself entertained for a long time now. and she can eat more foods! SHE IS LOVING LIFE SO MUCH!

BACK IN THE DAY

Delila went to play at her friend Jonas's house yesterday. Lots of kids were there playing. Jonas, Owen and Delila were all born within 6 weeks of each other so now that they are older they play together. SUPER FUN to watch them.

SURPRISE!!

So two weeks ago i started this party planning thing for richards big 26!! Our friends Greg and Syringa (who delila LOVES) watched delila for us while Rich and i went to Mimi's for dinner. YUMMY!!!! rich loves their bbq bacon burger mostly cause of the sauce and our waiter gave him tons of sauce to take home for his birthday. yea he got a good tip for that. HAHA! So the plan was to be home around 7:30 cause everyone got there at 7. so i was ready to go home and rich said lets stop at the mall and look at this store to see if they have shoes i would want. cause he wanted new shoes. WE DID THAT AND DID THAT AND DID THAT. soon i was like oh gosh people have been waiting at the house for like 45 min we gotta get. so i called Greg and i made up the excuse with him that delila was fussy we have to get home. So we get home and then i told rich to check on lila downstairs as he went i followed and and then SURPRISE!!! HE HAD NO IDEA NOT AT ALL!!!!!!

Rooms that are Done!

So these are the rooms that are pretty much done. If you read the post below you will see why i posted this.

THE GUEST BATHROOM
This room is not done yet but i DO know what i am going to do with it. Sanding down the oak and painting it black and then i am painting the walls a soft pink color. very soft pink. love it!

Choosing a COLOR!

Choosing a COLOR of paint for your walls is always a ROUGH decision. I always look at the OOPS paint at The Home Depot. (learned that from my mom) Most of the time there are always great colors that you could use. Every person should look at the OOPS paint. Seriously though i am having a really rough time making a decision on what to paint our Kitchen, Nook, Stairway and Down Stairs as well. things Done already are as follows.... The front room, Delila's room and Our bedroom. now the guest bathroom though i already know how i am going to paint that. Whos with me?? So here we go, give me input PLEASE!!!!!

THE KITCHEN

We have baby blue counter tops and back splash so i need it to go with that. and the color of a lot of my things like kitchen aid and toaster are Red. I am ready to make a BOLD decision and get some Major bright colors in there. You can not see in the pictures but the ceilings are VERY high. My options are.....

1. A green color i am thinking a soft lime green?

2. A Pale yellow

3. Red

THE NOOK

Should i just go from the kitchen and do the same color or should i switch it up? darker on the bottom half and lighter on the top half??? OPINIONS NEEDED

THE DOWNSTAIRS

This one is a tricky one. there are so many different angles and levels that i dont know if i want to do it all just one color or switch it up. I hope that in the pictures you can see the different levels as i was saying. There is one main wall and the rest are switched up with levels and such. The furniture is Brown and the end tables are black. So i want to have a brighter color and then another color. Again i was thinking a soft lime green color. not sure though??

THE STAIRWAY

Again very high. So u will need maybe a bold color. or should i do a simple color to flow/tie it all together?
